Job Summary
Junior to Mid UI/UX Designer
Location: Centurion South Africa
Reports to: Senior UX Designer
Purpose:
The role involves designing and refining digital experiences that are user-centered and impactful. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create intuitive interfaces conduct user research and contribute to the evolution of design systems and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and improve UI/UX for complex products.
- Conduct user research (interviews usability testing surveys).
- Translate insights into wireframes prototypes and polished designs.
- Maintain and evolve design systems and documentation.
- Support solution architecture continuous improvement and project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with governance and security standards.
Requirements
- Education: Tertiary qualification in Computer Science IT Visual Communication Graphic/Interaction Design or related fields.
- Experience: 2-4 years in UI/UX design.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of UI/UX principles user-centered design and best practices.
- Proficiency in Figma (preferred) Adobe Suite and related tools.
- Understanding of HTML CSS JavaScript React and front-end libraries.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies.
- Strong communication skills and MS Office proficiency.
