Job Summary

The Training Lead within GTI will be responsible for overseeing and managing the full training lifecycle for KYC and other regulatory processes( as required) ensuring all training initiatives align with organizational policies compliance requirements and strategic goals. This role involves both day-to-day operational oversight and project-based tasks that enhance training effectiveness facilitate change management and support audit compliance. The Training Lead will work closely with internal teams and external auditors to maintain a robust responsive and compliant training function.

As a Training Lead within the CORDS GTI you will support the Institutional Securities Group globally with responsibilities that include:

- Annual Training Needs Assessment & Delivery Planning
> Lead and manage the annual training needs assessment process identifying skills gaps and training requirements.
> Develop and implement a comprehensive training delivery plan based on the assessment ensuring alignment with CORDS KYC/Other Regulatory Management objectives and regulatory standards.

- Policy and Procedure Maintenance
> Maintain and regularly update the GTI training team procedures and training policy to reflect any regulatory policy or procedural changes.
> Ensure the training policies are up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.


-Training Development and Delivery
> Design develop and deliver training content responsive to updates in policy system changes and process improvements.
> Oversee periodic review and revision of training materials ensuring accuracy and relevance.
> Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address emerging training needs due to regulatory or strategic changes.

-Training Repository Management
> Oversee and maintain a well-organized accessible training repository for all KYC training materials and resources.
> Ensure the repository is updated organized and aligned with internal quality standards and compliance needs.

-Internal Initiatives and Strategic Support
> Support strategic initiatives including the planning and development of the future-state training team within CORDS.
> Participate in and support all internal training-related initiatives to meet evolving organizational and regulatory requirements.

-Audit and Compliance Management
> Manage and respond to internal and external audit requests related to training ensuring prompt and accurate information delivery.
> Serve as a key contact within the SWAT team for external audits file reviews and policy responses.

-Oversight of the Training Team
> Provide guidance and oversight to the training team ensuring effective workload management resource allocation and skill development.
> Step in as necessary to deliver new joiner training or other sessions during team member absences.

-Change Management and Working Groups
> Actively engage in working groups related to changes in regulatory processes policies or systems.
> Contribute to the syndication process by proactively identifying potential impacts and ensuring training updates reflect these changes.

-New Joiner and Ad-Hoc Training Delivery
> Provide oversight for new joiner training programs typically delivered by the training associate.
> Serve as a backup for training delivery as needed to maintain seamless training continuity.

> Strong understanding of KYC processes compliance requirements and financial services regulations.
> Proven experience in training program design delivery and continuous improvement.
> Ability to lead motivate and manage a training team to deliver high-quality impactful training.
> Proficient in analysing training needs assessing gaps and translating findings into effective training programs.
> Excellent communication and project management skills with a demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities.
> Ability to work collaboratively across teams and engage effectively in cross-functional working groups.
> Strong understanding of regulatory and audit standards and ability to ensure training materials align with these standards.
> Skilled in managing changes and updating training programs in response to evolving policies and processes.
