Position Overview

A skilled CVOR Surgical Technologist is needed to support a high-volume surgical services department. This role involves assisting in both elective and emergency cardiovascular procedures for adult and pediatric patients in a large multi-specialty operating room setting.

Schedule & Call Requirements

Shift: 6:30 AM 5:00 PM (4x10-hour shifts)
On-Call: 1 call shift per week 1 weekend per month
Weekends: Included as part of call rotation
Floating: Within CVOR/Surgical Services as needed

Department Details

23 Operating Rooms 1 Procedure Room
Supports adult and pediatric surgical cases
Handles a wide variety of specialty surgeries both elective and emergent
Fast-paced high-acuity environment

Required Experience

Strong background as a CVOR Tech or Surgical Tech
Ability to scrub cardiovascular cases
Experience in high-volume OR settings preferred
First-time travelers welcome

Certifications & Requirements

Relevant Surgical Tech certification (CST or equivalent) preferred or required per state guidelines
BLS (AHA) strongly recommended
