Weekend Care Assistant

Role Overview
As a Weekend Care Assistant you will provide essential support to individuals living in their own homes helping them maintain independence dignity and comfort. Your responsibilities will include:
Providing personal care such as washing dressing and supporting personal hygiene with dignity and respect
Assisting with meal preparation shopping and light household tasks
Offering companionship conversation and emotional support
Prompting or administering medication according to care plans
Observing and reporting any changes in wellbeing to the office or on-call team
Travelling within Swadlincote - fuel allowance provided at 35p per mile
Working weekends only ideal for those seeking flexible hours or additional income
Requirements
Full UK driving licence
Access to your own vehicle
Availability to work both Saturday and Sunday
A caring reliable and compassionate approach
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
What We Offer
A rewarding role supporting people in their own homes
Competitive pay rates:
Unqualified Weekend Carers: 13.0019.80 per hour
Qualified Weekend Carers (Level 2): 14.0021.30 per hour
35p per mile fuel allowance
Full in-house training and induction in Swadlincote
Shadowing shifts before independent work
