Freelance Drafter Remodeling & New Construction (Austin TX)
Long-Term High-Volume Work
We are seeking a Freelance Drafter with strong experience in residential remodeling and new construction. Our projects move quickly and we are looking to build a long-term partnership with someone reliable skilled and familiar with City of Austin permitting requirements.
About the Role
You will assist with creating:
Floor plans
As-built drawings
Plan reviews
Final permit-ready construction drawings
We work closely with the client upfront to streamline the design direction making our drafting process very smooth with minimal back-and-forth. If you are efficient organized and communicate clearly we will keep you consistently busy.
What Were Looking For
Required:
Experience in residential remodeling and new construction
Familiarity with City of Austin building codes & processes
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Reliable availability for site measurements when needed
Highly Preferred:
Architectural stamp (not required but a major plus)
