Job Summary
Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and experienced Part-Time Third shift Warehouse Worker to join our team for the third shift. This role involves heavy packaging and picking/packing tasks to ensure that all products are prepared and shipped accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have previous warehouse experience be able to handle physically demanding work and work well in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Heavy Packaging: Efficiently package products according to company standards ensuring proper labeling boxing and wrapping for safe shipment.
- Picker/Packer: Accurately pick and pack orders based on customer specifications using order slips or RF scanners.
- Safety & Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized work environment following all safety protocols and warehouse procedures to minimize risks and ensure a safe workspace.
- Collaboration: Work as part of a team to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse experience required with knowledge of packing picking and shipping procedures.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 80 lbs) and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced high-pressure environment.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in picking packing.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well with others.
- Must be reliable and punctual with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work first shift hours (typically from start time to end time including weekends if required).
Requirements
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for long periods bend twist and lift heavy boxes or materials.
- Ability to handle repetitive tasks in a physically demanding role.
- Comfortable working in varying temperatures depending on the warehouse environment.
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs
Required Skills:
Requirements Requirements Minimum 2-5 years of experience Additional courses in math biology chemistry and physics would be advantageous. Excellent knowledge of lab safety. Knowledge of computer science and statistics is a plus. Strong analytical observational and time management skills. The ability to follow instructions and focus for extended periods. Must be proficient in basic computer knowledge i.e. Word Excel Internet etc. Must be self-motivated and detail oriented. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills.
