Service Bidding Specialist

We are a business subsidiary with 35 professionals in Romania. As part of the global company Hitachi Energy we offer you the combination of well-known professional products together with a family working atmosphere.

The Bidding Specialist role focuses on preparing coordinating and submitting competitive bids and proposals in line with company standards and customer requirements.

How youll make an impact:

• Prepares and submits Service bids and proposals according to Hitachi Energys processes and procedures ensuring compliance with all technical and commercial requirements.
• Reviews tender documents (RFP/RFQ) to identify scope risks and deliverables and coordinates internally to gather necessary inputs.
• Ensures accurate pricing cost estimation and application of commercial terms in line with company guidelines.
• Collaborates with sales engineering legal and finance teams to develop complete and competitive offers.
• Maintains effective communication with customers during the bidding process to clarify requirements and provide updates.
• Tracks bid status deadlines and documentation using company tools and proposes improvement actions when needed.
• Supports negotiation phases by providing detailed cost breakdowns and compliance clarifications.
• Ensures timely submission of bids and monitors contract execution after award assisting with administrative and project handover activities.

Your background:

• University degree in Power/Energy/Electrical or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in bidding tendering or proposal preparation within the Energy sector.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Good knowledge of spoken and written English.
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and familiarity with ERP/CRM tools.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple bids simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset.
• High sense of responsibility and accountability.
