Murdoch Active delivers sport and recreation programs facilities and services that promote health wellbeing and community connection. Our team enhances the student experience and supports teaching research and engagement through our gym courts halls and playing fields.

Your New Role!

The Participation and Activation Coordinator designs and delivers inclusive recreation community and sporting programs that enhance student experience and engagement at Murdoch University. Working within Murdoch Active youll create safe diverse events on and off campus to support recruitment and build community connections.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver participation programs and events that foster engagement and positive experiences.

  • Recruit train and manage staff for Murdoch Active programs.

  • Lead a team including Sports Officials Medical Officers Event Officers and student volunteers.

This Fixed Term (12 Months) Full Time (37.5 hours per week) attracts a remuneration of $89K $96K (pro rata) plus 17% employer superannuation contributions.

What youll bring to the role:

  • Certificate IV in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

  • Experience delivering sporting leagues events and programs with knowledge of competition management.

  • Proven ability to supervise staff including casuals and volunteers.

  • Strong stakeholder and customer relationship management skills.

  • Current First Aid Certificate.
