Project Manager Metro Detroit MI
Utilities Experience Required
We are seeking a detail-oriented experienced Project Manager to lead complex utility projects from initiation through closeout. The ideal candidate will work with cross-functional teams clients and regulatory stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on scope on schedule and on budget.
Responsibilities:
Lead all phases of project management: planning execution monitoring and closeout
Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure successful project execution
Track and manage project budgets schedules and risks
Act as the primary point of contact for clients and project stakeholders
Prepare status reports forecasts and presentations for clients and leadership
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements safety protocols and industry standards
Mentor and support project team members including coordinators and field staff
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Engineering Construction Management or Business
5 years of project management experience in utilities
PMP certification or equivalent preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Project Excel Power BI and SharePoint
Strong leadership communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
