San José Mineta International Airport is recruiting for a Senior Analyst and Analyst I/II position. The Senior Analyst is in the Airport Finance and Administration Division and the Analyst I/II is in the Planning and Development Division. Senior Analyst:
The position of Senior Analyst in the Airport Finance and Administration Division provides support to the Airport Department in managing the development of the Airports Operating Budget including coordination with various Airport Divisions and supervising the preparation of monthly and annual aviation statistical reports. The Senior Analyst position reports directly to the Administrative Officer in the Finance and Administration Division and has supervisory responsibilities.

Analyst I/II:
The Analyst I/II position is in the Planning and Development Division. This position reports directly to the Senior Analyst and is a crucial member of the Airports Planning and Development Division. The Analyst is part of the fiscal team in the Planning and Development Division of the Airport. The Analysts primary role is to support the development monitoring reporting and administration of the Divisions annual operating budget and capital budget. The Analyst also serves as a liaison for coordination of the budget and financial information between multiple stakeholders including the Airports Finance Division and the Citys Budget Office. The Analyst will be responsible for tracking and enforcing timely delivery of budget status reporting within the Division. The Analyst will manage the day-to-day capital budget processes including but not limited to assisting program and project managers with fiscal and budgeting aspects and monitoring and reporting expenditures.
The Analyst will also support the fiscal and administrative functions of the division such as ordering/manage office supplies for the division assist with new hire set up processing invoice payments encumbrances requisitions accruals procurement renewals monitoring and tacking service orders. This position also coordinates with internal staff to assist with special requests processes and analysis.
The successful candidates will need to have strong analytical organizational writing and verbal skills be able to handle multiple assignments with competing deadlines and work well under the pressure of the budget process. Excellent communication collaboration problem solving skills and critical thinking ability as well as significant capital and operating budget development and monitoring experience are ideal. Ability to work effectively with coworkers and executive management both within the Department and with other departments is essential. At times of peak budget activity some overtime hours may be required.

The actual salary shall be determined by the final candidates qualifications and experience. These salary ranges include an approximate five percent (5%) ongoing non-pensionable compensation pay.
