Location: Freehold NJ (this position requires travel between offices)

Compensation: $30.22 - $40.80 per hour

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Performs specimen analysis for all testing done in house for moderate and high complexity laboratory tests.
• Acts as working technical lead of day to day operations for the main laboratory
• Assists lab manager with supervision of activities of Laboratory personnel including Medical Technologists MLTs and Phlebotomists.
• Assists Lab Manager with Billing report as needed delegating duties insuring the report is complete by 10AM daily.
• Completes end of month QC reporting maintenance of lab records insures all data is reported to pertinent IQAP programs.
• Creates work schedule and monitors for absences and coverage as necessary

Education:

• Bachelors degree in Medical Technology required.
• Minimum four years experience in laboratory testing and experience using a wide array of Laboratory Instrumentation and Maintenance.
• Knowledge of COLA and CLIA regulations required.

Requires corrected vision color perception and hearing to normal range. Requires legible handwriting.
