Are you ready to lead Lancashire County Councils commercial agenda and make a real impact Were looking for an experienced and visionary Head of Commercial to shape and deliver a robust commercial strategy that drives financial sustainability efficiency and innovation across our services.

As our Head of Commercial you will:

Lead the development and delivery of the Councils commercial strategy embedding commercial principles across all services.
Establish and lead a high-performing Commercial Function focused on market shaping commissioning and contract management.
Build strong partnerships with suppliers SMEs and VCSEs to improve market access and competition.
Drive cultural change to embed commercial thinking and behaviours across the organisation.

What were looking for:

Extensive experience in commercial strategy procurement and contract management within a complex organisation.
Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
Knowledge of public sector governance compliance and social value principles.
A proven track record of delivering financial savings and operational improvements through commercial innovation.
