Physiotherapist - Gold Coast

We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic Physiotherapists to join a dynamic team of Allied Health Professionals!

This role is ideal for Physiotherapists with an interest in:

Home-based assessments and equipment prescription
Slow stream rehabilitation
Individual and group exercise therapy
Falls prevention
Manual handling training and injury prevention

Key Responsibilities

Your role will include a mix of community-based and residential aged care clients:

Community Component:

Visit referred clients to assess needs and develop therapy plans aligned with their goals
Advise on visit frequency and manage your schedule efficiently
Provide recommendations for aids and equipment

Residential Aged Care Component:

Assess new residents and collaborate with facility healthcare staff
Advise on manual handling requirements and design therapy programs
Deliver individual and group wellness and re-ablement sessions
Monitor falls and work with a multidisciplinary team to reduce risk

Additional responsibilities include:

Monitoring and adjusting aids and equipment as needed
Conducting one-on-one and group therapy sessions

Skills & Experience

To be successful you will need:

Current AHPRA Registration
Bachelor or Masters degree in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy
Police check and QLD NDIS Worker Screening Card (or willingness to obtain)
Drivers License
Valid CPR and First Aid certifications
Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
A client-centred approach
