Job Summary

InterimHealthCare - New Hampshire is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team in Portsmouth NH. The PTA will work closely with physical therapists to provide quality care to patients by assisting in therapeutic activities designed to improve mobility and relieve pain.

Responsibilities

  • Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans.
  • Provide therapeutic exercises and treatments to patients.
  • Monitor patient progress and report changes to the physical therapist.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Ensure a safe and clean treatment environment.
  • Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and home exercises.

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
  • Current licensing or certification as required by the state of New Hampshire.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
  • Compassionate and patient-focused approach.
