Job Description

The CT Technologist will be responsible for performing high-quality CT imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety comfort and accurate diagnostic results. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently during night shifts and collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to maintain an efficient imaging workflow.

Key Responsibilities

Perform CT imaging procedures according to physician orders and established departmental protocols.
Operate CT scanners imaging software and related equipment with accuracy and safety.
Properly position patients to obtain optimal diagnostic images while maintaining their comfort and safety.
Verify patient identity and review relevant medical history; ensure appropriate pre-screening for contrast use.
Administer and monitor IV contrast media when required.
Adhere to radiation safety standards and ALARA principles at all times.
Collaborate closely with radiologists nurses and support staff to ensure timely and efficient imaging services.
Maintain and update imaging records accurately in the electronic medical record system.
Provide clear communication instructions and compassionate care to patients.
Assist with equipment quality checks room cleanliness and inventory management.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of CT Tech experience.

Certifications Required

ARRT Radiography Certification (R.T.(R))
ARRT CT Certification (R.T.(CT))
BLS (AHA)
