Job Summary

We are recruiting for a Global Absence Lead to join us on a 6-month FTC taking responsibility for leading absence and time off management within our HRIS.

The role:

  • Provide expertise on key absence management business processes including time off.
  • Monitor project milestones and risks ensuring timely delivery and successful execution.
  • Collaborate with regional SMEs to understand regional requirements and ensure compliance with local and global absence regulations and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with holiday policies statuary leave policies and other organisational absence policies.
  • Manage other stakeholder engagement as required. 
  • Collaborates with technical workstreams on integrations data and security.

Qualifications :

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Absence management and will manage stakeholders across multiple countries to ensure seamless implementation.

You will have:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in HR Business Administration Finance or a related field preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of absence management and time tracking issues HR Transformation or Project Management.
  • Experience managing projects from inception to implementation in global environments.
  • Project Management certification (PMP PRINCE2 or equivalent) is a plus.
  • Proven ability to manage global stakeholders at all levels tailoring communications accordingly and driving cross-functional collaboration.
  • Excellent communication analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working in multinational organisations with complex job structures with the ability to navigate cultural differences highly preferred.
  • A collaborative mindset and working style.
  • Methodical and solutions-oriented with a strong eye for detail and accuracy.
