What its Like
Were looking for an entry-level Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer intern to join our data analytics this role youll work with complex data sets to build interactive dashboards visualizations and reports that uncover actionable insights for business decision-makers. Youll collaborate with analysts engineers and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable BI solutions that drive performance and strategy. The ideal candidate is passionate about data storytelling comfortable working with large datasets and eager to learn modern BI tools and data visualization best practices.
What Youll Do
Youll learn how to design and build actionable dashboards that surface key insights for business teams. Youll work with large and complex data sets developing skills in data modeling querying and visualization. Youll also explore how to integrate Python and AI tools into your daily workflow to enhance analytics and automation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain BI dashboards reports and data visualizations to support business initiatives.
- Analyze complex data sets to identify trends patterns and opportunities for actionable insights.
- Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.
- Ensure data accuracy quality and consistency across reporting systems.
- What it Takes
- Familiarity with SQL experience working in a data visualization tool
- At least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- High School Diploma or GED
- Candidates must be currently enrolled in a degree program and have at least one semester remaining following the internship
- Employees of T-Mobile or Metro by T-Mobile are ineligible for internships
- Employer does not sponsor work visas for this position. Note that this also applies to individuals who are students in F-1 status who desire sponsorship after they complete their education.
- Relocation may be provided to program participants who reside more than 50 miles from the internship location.
- Intern wages range from $20/hour to $40/hour. The successful candidates actual pay will be based on experience/location.
