In this Labor and Delivery RN role youll lead and support evidence-based care for laboring patients facilitate continuous fetal monitoring administer medications within scope and coordinate with obstetric neonatal anesthesia and parent-education teams. Youll assess maternal and fetal status manage labor progression assist with vaginal and cesarean births and provide comprehensive postpartum and neonatal support. Youll educate families on breastfeeding newborn care warning signs and recovery expectations ensuring culturally sensitive communication and informed consent at every step. Youll mentor less experienced staff share best practices and participate in quality-improvement initiatives designed to enhance safety and outcomes.
