Your Role as the Occupational Therapist Clinton Presbyterian Community

As the full-time OT you will play a central role in shaping OT services across the continuum of care.

You will:

o Evaluate and treat residents to promote safety independence and functional participation

o Develop individualized occupation-based care plans across short-term rehab residential living and long-term care

o Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team of nurses physicians therapists chaplains and life enrichment professionals

o Participate in program development quality improvement initiatives and team communication routines

o Support OT/OTA student mentorship as opportunities arise within PCSCs clinical education partnerships


Clinical Mentoring & Shaping the Profession

PCSC has one of the strongest clinical education programs in senior living partnering with universities across the region. As a full-time OT at Clinton you will have opportunities to:

o Mentor OT and OTA students during Level I and Level II fieldwork

o Influence the development of emerging clinicians through structured teaching modeling and case-based practice

o Participate in shaping student learning experiences across PCSCs six campuses

o Collaborate with university faculty and strengthen academic partnerships

Requirements

What You Bring

o Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

o Current SC OT licensure (or eligibility)

o Senior living or SNF experience preferred new grads with passion for older adults welcome

o Strong communication skills and interest in collaborative team care

o Commitment to professional growth and evidence-based practice
