Job Summary
The School Aide plays a vital role in supporting students who require instructional and/or behavioral assistance. Working under the direct supervision of the special educationdepartment classroom teacher or designated supervisor the School Aide helps create a safe inclusive and productive learning environment. This position involves assisting students with academic tasks reinforcing classroom instruction and implementing behavior management strategies as directed by thesupervising ResponsibilitiesAssist students with classroom activities assignments and individualized education plans (IEPs).Support behavior management strategies and maintain a positive learning personal care assistance including mobility support and therapeutic exercises as directed by healthcare student safety and well-being throughout the school effectively with teachers staff and parents regarding student progress and confidentiality and comply with all school policies and professional a difference in a childs life today!
