Job Description
- Support budgeting and financial forecasting by building and maintaining data-driven financial models
- Prepare financial reports on event profitability operational expenses and cash flow projections for the executive team
- Track actual versus projected costs for live productions and identify key variances and cost-saving opportunities
- Conduct profitability analysis by event client and venue to inform pricing and strategic decisions
- Analyze rental versus purchase decisions for production equipment and advise on ROI and asset optimization
- Monitor equipment utilization depreciation and maintenance costs to improve resource allocation and returns
- Track and report key KPIs such as cost per event revenue per equipment type and labor efficiency
- Assist with cash flow management financing needs and other strategic initiatives under the CFOs direction
- Support M&A work including financial due diligence valuation modeling projections and integration support
- Collaborate closely with operations production and leadership to turn data into clear actionable insights
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in FP&A or financial analysis (corporate operations or similar)
- Bachelors degree in finance accounting economics or a related field
- Advanced Excel skills including complex modeling data manipulation and presentation
- Experience with budgeting forecasting variance analysis and management reporting
- Background in asset-heavy capital-intensive or equipment-heavy industries is a strong plus
- M&A or deal analysis experience is a plus but not required
- Comfortable working on-site communicating with executives and presenting data-driven recommendations
- Detail-oriented highly analytical and able to thrive in a fast-paced evolving environment
