Job Description

  • Support budgeting and financial forecasting by building and maintaining data-driven financial models
  • Prepare financial reports on event profitability operational expenses and cash flow projections for the executive team
  • Track actual versus projected costs for live productions and identify key variances and cost-saving opportunities
  • Conduct profitability analysis by event client and venue to inform pricing and strategic decisions
  • Analyze rental versus purchase decisions for production equipment and advise on ROI and asset optimization
  • Monitor equipment utilization depreciation and maintenance costs to improve resource allocation and returns
  • Track and report key KPIs such as cost per event revenue per equipment type and labor efficiency
  • Assist with cash flow management financing needs and other strategic initiatives under the CFOs direction
  • Support M&A work including financial due diligence valuation modeling projections and integration support
  • Collaborate closely with operations production and leadership to turn data into clear actionable insights

Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience in FP&A or financial analysis (corporate operations or similar)
  • Bachelors degree in finance accounting economics or a related field
  • Advanced Excel skills including complex modeling data manipulation and presentation
  • Experience with budgeting forecasting variance analysis and management reporting
  • Background in asset-heavy capital-intensive or equipment-heavy industries is a strong plus
  • M&A or deal analysis experience is a plus but not required
  • Comfortable working on-site communicating with executives and presenting data-driven recommendations
  • Detail-oriented highly analytical and able to thrive in a fast-paced evolving environment
