About the Role
As a Dutch-Speaking Customer Support Specialist you will be the primary point of contact for our policyholders in the Dutch market. You will handle inquiries resolve issues and provide information regarding their insurance policies ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction with every interaction. This is a vital role focused on building trust and maintaining our commitment to excellent service.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound calls emails and potentially chat inquiries from Dutch-speaking customers regarding their insurance policies claims billing and general services.
- Diagnose and resolve customer issues efficiently and effectively escalating complex cases to the appropriate internal teams when necessary.
- Provide accurate detailed and clear information about policy coverage terms and procedures.
- Document all customer interactions and transactions accurately in the companys CRM system.
- Adhere to company policies industry regulations and service quality standards.
- Contribute to team goals and participate in continuous improvement efforts for customer service processes.
What Were Looking For (Must-Haves)
- Language Proficiency:
- Dutch: Fluent (written and spoken) to communicate effectively with our client base.
- English: C1 level proficiency (advanced) for internal communication training and documentation.
- Work Authorization: Valid documentation for employment in Portugal which includes:
- EU Citizenship OR
- A valid Residency Card (with more than one year of validity remaining) OR
- A valid Refugee Card.
- Availability: Ability to start on January 8th 2026.
What Would Be Great (Good to Have)
- Prior experience in a customer service support or call center environment.
- Familiarity with the insurance industry financial services or complex regulated environments.
Working Hours and Location
- Location: Lisbon Portugal.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday (weekends are your days off!).
- Operating Hours: 07:30 AM to 08:00 PM (Rotational shifts within this timeframe).
- Note: You will be required to work on local bank holidays as part of the rotational shift schedule.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: 1100 Gross per month paid across 14 months per year.
