Job Summary


We are seeking a highly proficient French-speaking Customer Support Specialist to join our team in Lisbon Portugal and manage support for our payment solutions account. This position is on-site in Lisbon with a target start date of January 8th 2026.

Role Overview and Key Duties

This role involves being the main point of contact for our French-speaking clientele utilizing our payment services. Your primary responsibility is to ensure an outstanding customer experience by:

  • Handling Inquiries: Responding to customer questions (both individual and business) via phone email and chat regarding the functionality usage and transaction issues related to our payment products.
  • Troubleshooting: Identifying analyzing and resolving malfunctions and requests including basic technical support account administration and monitoring financial operations.
  • Documentation: Accurately recording all customer interactions feedback and resolutions in the companys Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  • Compliance: Strictly adhering to company protocols and payment industry regulations with a strong emphasis on data security.
  • Skill Development: Actively participating in training sessions to maintain expertise on new features and service updates.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with other departments (technical sales) to quickly resolve complex cases.

Candidate Requirements

  • Essential Language Skills: Flawless and fluent command of both written and spoken French (C1/C2 level) and English (minimum C1 level).
  • Mandatory Eligibility to Work in Portugal: You must hold one of the following valid documents: EU Citizenship a valid Residency Card (with more than one year remaining validity) or a Refugee Card.
  • Shift Availability: Must be available to work rotating shifts covering a 24/7 schedule Monday through Sunday.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities strong customer-centric focus active listening skills and attention to detail.
  • Prior Experience (A Plus): Previous experience in a call center customer service or financial services/payment solutions environment is beneficial but not mandatory. Full training will be provided.
