We are now looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join an exciting long-term project with a leading financial institution.
About the Project
In this role you will support a large financial institution in building and optimizing big-data workloads on Databricks. This is a hands-on position where you will work independently drive best practices and confidently challenge unclear requirements to ensure high-quality deliverables. You will collaborate with technical and business stakeholders while contributing to a high-performance data platform.
Responsibilities

Build and optimize large-scale data pipelines using PySpark and Delta Lake

Automate and orchestrate workloads using Jenkins

Apply DevOps / MLOps principles and support production optimization including FinOps

Use Databricks Asset Bundles for consistent and standardized deployments

Collaborate with stakeholders clarify requirements and challenge assumptions when necessary
Requirements / Skills

Strong proven experience working with Databricks (must-have)

Senior-level skills with PySpark Delta CI/CD and big-data optimization

Hands-on experience with Jenkins and production-grade data engineering workflows

Ability to work autonomously and ask the right questions when requirements are unclear

Strong communication and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced data-driven environment
