Psychologist - Outpatient & Primary Care Behavioral Health - Helen DeVos Childrens Hospital - Grand Rapids Michigan
Corewell Healths Helen DeVos Childrens Hospital a nationally recognized hospital for child & adolescent behavioral health by the U. S. News and World Report has a unique opportunity for a child psychologist to practice a mix of outpatient psychology and also embed into select primary care practices. The ideal candidate has training or experience in primary care and is excited to drive this new initiative.
About this position:
50/50 split between general outpatient practice and embedded primary care psychology.
Outpatient practice consists of conducting evaluations and therapy cases.
Embedded primary care work would allow you to provide brief behavioral health consultations and solution-focused therapy to address primary health concerns (e.g. sleep feeding toileting behavior concerns) early to reduce need for referral to outside care.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver evidence-based behavioral health interventions in primary care settings.
Conduct psychological evaluations and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Support continuity of care and improve access for pediatric patients.
Qualifications:
PhD PsyD EdD in Psychology
Ability to obtain a full Michigan psychology license
American Board of Professional Psychology eligible or certified
