The Position

The Opportunity

This three year degree apprenticeship combines University-based learning with on-the-job training. You will attend university whilst working with our in house experts focusing on the necessary skills to prepare you for the role. These activities will be coordinated by the Digital Health Security Lead.

This is a field/office-based role reporting to the Digital Health Security Lead with a requirement to attend University one week every eight weeks for three years.

The Digital Health Security Apprentice (DHSA) is vital in supporting the cyber security posture of the Roche product portfolio. The role focuses on developing enhancing and promoting cyber security topics within the Digital Health Security (DHS) team. This position supports commercial success by completing customer facing documentation and providing assurance. The DHSA is also expected to be a member of the Roche Dia UK&IE ISMS core team and actively engage in proactive threat monitoring and collaboration with Roche security teams. A crucial requirement of this role is ensuring commitment and enthusiasm toward degree course studies.

Who you are

To apply you will need:

  • A-Levels or relevant professional experience.

  • Has relevant IT experience (e.g. Computer science).

  • Understanding of IT Hardware networking (DNS and DHCP) Microsoft Servers and applications/services such as Active Directory and Windows 10/11.

  • Basic troubleshooting experience.

  • Understanding of the IT industry and familiarity with working in a multicultural environment.

  • An interest in healthcare and a desire to learn about the systems challenges and innovations shaping the sector.

  • A full UK driving licence is desirable.

Location and Recruitment Process:

This is a field/office-based role reporting to the Digital Health Security Lead with a requirement to attend college one week every eight weeks for three years.
