This vacancy is located in the State Office Child Support Enforcement Unit in Baton Rouge LA.


This position is with the Program Integration Unit and provides programmatic oversight and support for the IV-D program.The critical responsibilities of this position center on supporting the Access and Visitation (A&V) program and fulfilling the role of the Noncriminal Agency Coordinator (NAC).This position requires knowledge of the Child Support Enforcement Programs federal regulations state and federal laws department policy and procedures. The incumbent will perform activities related to program compliance and contract monitoring as well as provide support to units within CSE State Office.

Minimum Qualifications

Six years of experience in child support enforcement; OR

Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus three years of experience in child support enforcement; OR

A bachelors degree plus three years of experience in child support enforcement; OR

A masters degree plus two years of experience in child support enforcement.

EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

Job Duties and Other Information

Job Duties:
  • Coordinate with Program Integration Consultants to ensure the DA site visits and IRS Internal Inspection Audits are completed timely.
  • Serve as lead in the section for compiling and maintaining statistical data.
  • Monitors and disburse the CAFÉ unassigned and former employee queues for all offices across the state.
  • Monitor and take action on the reports available in the FPLS-SSP (Federal Parent Locate Services-State Services Portal).
  • Serves as the CSE Agencys Noncriminal Agency Coordinator (NAC) for the CSE criminal background checks.
  • Responsible for maintaining the Authorized Personnel List on file with the LSP Bureau.
  • Serves as the record keeper for the Access and Visitation program.
  • Provide support to CSE to initiate implement and work projects to enhance service delivery and increase performance.
  • Work closely with the CSE Training Specialist (s).
  • Perform other duties as assigned for the smooth operation of the Department.


Position-Specific Details:
Appointment Type: This position may be filled as a probational appointment or a job appointment that may last up to 48 months. Job appointments may convert to probational appointments. Also it may be filled as a detail and promoted within 12 months or by promotion of a permanent classified employee.

Work Schedule: Typically work hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday Friday. Flexible work schedules are available after meeting certain criteria and is dependent upon the position you are applying for. Some positions require working shifts.
