The Role
You will be responsible for securing high levels of pupil attendance working closely with Heads of Year safeguarding leads and external agencies. Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring daily attendance and punctuality
- Conducting first-day absence calls and home visits (with another staff member)
- Creating attendance action plans with students and families
- Working with EWO services and reporting to SLT
- Producing attendance data and supporting termly reports
- Delivering attendance interventions and pastoral meetings
