Finance Controller Intern

Job Summary

The Finance Controller Intern will support the finance and accounting team with essential financial control activities including budgeting reporting cost analysis and internal process reviews. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented student or early-career professional who wants hands-on experience in financial operations internal controls and performance analysis within a global workforce environment. The intern will work closely with the Finance Controller to ensure accuracy compliance and timely delivery of financial information.

Duration: 6 months full-time paid internship starting in December 2025

Proposed Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing monthly quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Support budget creation forecasting updates and variance analysis.
• Help monitor expenses review invoices and validate financial entries for accuracy.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies.
• Assist in reviewing cost structures performing profitability or margin analyses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Help maintain and improve documentation of financial procedures and workflows.
• Support audits by preparing schedules and gathering required documents.
• Assist with ad-hoc financial modeling data analysis and business performance reports.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and automation projects within finance.

Ideal Qualities and Experience:

The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator a passionate team player good under pressure and fast on their feet.

• Currently pursuing a degree in Finance Accounting Business Administration Economics or a related field.
• Exposure to financial analysis budgeting or accounting coursework.
• Entrepreneurial Spirit and Intellectual Curiosity
• Highly organized with strong time-management skills.
• Experience with spreadsheets (Excel Google Sheets) including formulas pivot tables and data organization.
• An analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
• Detail-oriented thorough and consistent in checking their own work.
• Integrity and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
• Comfortable working independently when needed but collaborative in team settings.
