Job Summary
Position: SQE Lead (Supplier Quality Leader)

Responsibilities
- Lead the Team of Supplier Quality Engineering
- Lead and facilitate cross-functional teams and activities focused on purchased component risk reduction within the Terex AWP supply chain. Must be willing to communicate and collaborate inside and outside of the organization daily.
- Develop the supply chain: create and execute custom-tailored quality improvement plans based on supplier performance data (Like PPM OTD) and the maturity of their quality management systems. Including full project management of all quality improvement related activities for newly selected or struggling suppliers.
- Accurately assess supplier capabilities to ensure compliance to Terex drawings and specifications will be met reliably in production.
- Manage supplier readiness to execute the Advanced Quality Production Planning (APQP) & Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).
- Perform detailed drawing reviews for accuracy and design-for-manufacturability risks; initiate and recommend engineering changes as necessary.
- Conduct on-site manufacturing technical assessments and quality system assessments at domestic and international supplier locations.
- Coach suppliers using effective problem-solving techniques (8D 5 Whys fishbone) to ensure root causes are accurately identified and effective preventive measures are implemented.
- Travel up to 50% (domestic and international) to perform supplier site assessments level 5 PPAPs and problem-solving workshops.
- Should Have Previous experience on at least few Categories like Fabrication sheet Metal Electrical & Electronics Cylinders Hydraulics Decals Fasteners Electrical Drive Motors etc
- Should have sound knowledge on Dimensional inspection techniques Interpreting CMM Reports and Understanding of Datum Targets and Datum Concepts.
