Job Overview

The Engraver is responsible for engraving embossed and specialty rolls while ensuring proper and proficient operation of engraving machinery. The role requires strong mechanical aptitude precision and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain a safe working environment.

• Identify and properly use machine safety features and personal protective equipment.

• Follow safety procedures OSHA standards and all relevant guidelines.

• Read and interpret layout sheets specifications and blueprints.

• Operate engraving machines and maintain proficiency in their use.

• Perform required machine and roll setups.

• Use close-tolerance measuring instruments and complete precision work with minimal errors.

• Accurately document detailed roll information.

• Transport parts or rolls using dollies or forklifts; safely lift and position workpieces using hoists.

• Complete assigned tasks within the allotted time.

• Maintain a clean and safe workspace through housekeeping and minor maintenance.

• Participate in continuous improvement activities including Gemba initiatives.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Strong mechanical aptitude.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

• Basic computer skills for timekeeping and documentation.

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work demands.

• Ability to stand or walk for 8 10 hours per shift.

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
