Responsibilities:
- Complete discipline estimates and work with other pre-construction team members to combine and complete bids and proposals.
- Interact with internal and external SMEs.
- Understand scope of work project drawings specifications 3D models and other related design documents.
- Quantify the scope of work and related documents into workhours units costs.
- Extract related information from industry construction software into usable information.
- Understand and mitigate technical and commercial risks through clarifications exceptions etc.
- Participate in constructability reviews.
- Collaborate with Purchasing and Constructability resources to develop scopes of work pricing and proposals from others.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors Degree in Construction Management Engineering or a related field is preferred but not required
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience within a manufacturing or industrial construction project or estimation setting.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office estimating software and industry-specific tools.
- Soft Skills: Strong leadership communication and problem-solving skills.
Working Conditions:
- Must be flexible to travel and visit projects if needed.
- Standard working hours from an office location.
