What Youll Bring to the Role-
Education & Credentials:
- Current license from the State of California Speech-Language Pathology Board
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
Professional Experience:
- Minimum one (1) year of experience as an SLP working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Minimum one (1) year of pediatric experience (birth to 5 years of age)
- Demonstrated ability to provide constructive feedback mentor colleagues and support professional growth
General Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older at the time of hire
- Criminal record clearance from DOJ required
- Valid California Drivers License safe driving record and at least 2 years of driving experience
- Current and adequate auto insurance
- CPR/FA certification (training provided if not already certified)
- Strong accountability and follow-through in documentation compliance and training requirements
- Adaptability in responding to changing policies staffing needs and family crises
Language & Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in reading writing speaking and understanding English
- Skilled in Microsoft Word and Outlook
- Strong active listening skills to understand family and staff concerns
- Ability to deliver feedback in a constructive and supportive manner
