Job Summary

JOB TITLE: Mechanical Fabrication & Assembly Technician
LOCATION: Huntington Beach CA
PAY RATE: $27/hour

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

Regular and predictable attendance is required
Support building activities for mechanical assemblies heavy structure drill-out bonding fastener installation component assembly and wire harness installation
Build modify install troubleshoot and repair components and structural assemblies for production
Bridge hands-on mechanical work with execution of planned tasks through work orders designs computer models processes and procedures
Fabricate and assemble components using standard hand/power tools and precision instruments
Maintain accurate documentation of completed work inspections and non-conformances
Collaborate with engineers to suggest design changes and process improvements
Ensure compliance with safety procedures quality standards and configuration control

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED
Technical diploma associate degree or equivalent experience in aircraft maintenance machine trades or manufacturing technologies
Experience with composites titanium sheet metal riveting fastening wiring tubing and basic machining
Ability to read and interpret drawings blueprints and technical data
Use of tooling such as torque wrenches countersinks drills deburring tools and calibrated equipment
Strong problem-solving skills attention to detail and effective communication with engineers and teammates
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Skills:

A&P certification specialty training or equivalent experience
