Requirements


We are looking for an experienced Senior ServiceNow HR Service Delivery (HRSD) Developer to design develop and implement scalable HR solutions on the ServiceNow platform. This role focuses on improving employee experience optimizing HR operations and delivering integrated HRSD solutions aligned with enterprise standards and best practices.

The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in ServiceNow HRSD solid understanding of HR processes and the ability to collaborate effectively with HR IT and architecture teams.


  • Design configure and develop ServiceNow HRSD solutions including:

    • HR Case Management

    • Employee Center / Employee Center Pro

    • HR Knowledge Management

    • Lifecycle Events and COE frameworks

  • Build intuitive and personalized employee self-service experiences through role-based portals and guided workflows.

  • Create and enhance HR Service Catalogs with user-friendly forms contextual guidance and automated fulfillment processes.

  • Develop and maintain integrations with enterprise systems including:

    • SuccessFactors for employee data organizational hierarchy and performance information

    • Payroll systems for compensation benefits and time-related data

    • Identity Management systems (Active Directory SailPoint) for access provisioning

    • Collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams and Slack for workflows alerts and approvals

  • Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices Common Service Data Model (CSDM) and enterprise architecture standards.

  • Support platform upgrades patches and maintenance activities.

  • Configure data security ACLs and role-based access controls in compliance with HR and data privacy regulations.

  • Collaborate with HR stakeholders to convert business requirements into technical designs and solutions.

  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning stand-ups backlog grooming and retrospectives.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve HRSD-related incidents defects and enhancement requests.

  • Analyze user feedback and continuously optimize HR workflows and employee experience.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field.

  • 5 years of ServiceNow development experience including 2 years working with HR Service Delivery.

Technical Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with:

    • HR Case Management and HR Knowledge

    • Employee Center / Employee Center Pro

    • Lifecycle Events and COE structures

    • IntegrationHub and Flow Designer

  • Expertise in:

    • JavaScript and Glide APIs (GlideRecord GlideAjax GlideAggregate GlideDateTime)

    • UI development (Client Scripts UI Policies UI Actions Catalog Scripts UI Pages)

    • Business Rules Script Includes ACLs Data Policies

    • REST/SOAP integrations and spoke development

  • Experience with Import Sets Transform Maps and scheduled data imports.

  • Knowledge of reporting and Performance Analytics.

Certifications

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) Required


HR Domain Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of HR processes and employee lifecycle:

    • Recruitment and onboarding

    • Employee relations and case management

    • Performance management

    • Leave absence and benefits administration

    • Offboarding and alumni management

  • Familiarity with HR compliance data privacy and record retention requirements.

  • Understanding of HR service delivery models and organizational structures.


Preferred Qualifications

  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) HR Service Delivery (Highly Preferred)

  • Experience integrating HRSD with SuccessFactors or Workforce systems.

  • Exposure to ITSM ITOM IRM or Employee Experience solutions.

  • Experience working in large enterprise or global manufacturing environments.
