Occupli Recruitment is delighted to exclusively represent a market-leading indigenous supplier of Process Equipment and Engineering Solutions to the Pharmaceutical Chemical and Biotechnology sectors across Ireland and the UK. Due to continued growth our client is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join their expanding team.
Reporting to the Operations Manager and based at the companys Cork headquarters this role will be responsible for the inspection overhaul repair and assembly of a diverse range of process control equipment with a particular focus on valve technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Perform in-house service assembly overhaul and testing of the companys process equipment portfolio focusing primarily on valve-related products.
Work both in the workshop and at customer sites (including occasional overnight stays).
Diagnose faults troubleshoot and repair customer equipment providing accurate and detailed service and repair reports.
Operate company equipment such as forklifts tools and testing apparatus in a safe and competent manner.
Ensure adherence to workshop schedules in line with company requirements.
Maintain high safety standards including correct use of personal protective equipment.
Support general workshop upkeep including maintenance of tools equipment and company assets.
Comply with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management and Health & Safety procedures.

Skills Knowledge & Abilities
A proactive self-starter capable of working independently and collaboratively.
Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electronic process control equipment.
Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Flexible innovative and adaptable approach to work.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
Competent in producing detailed reports (e.g. site visit summaries repair documentation).
Willingness to travel within Ireland with occasional overnight stays.
Education & Experience Requirements
Mechanical engineering qualification (academic or trade essential).
Electrical/Electronic engineering experience or qualification is highly advantageous.
Experience in the repair overhaul and assembly of mechanical capital equipment such as process pumps valves or similar process equipment
"Full clean driving licence required due to the travel nature of the role.
