Our client is seeking an experienced Serious Crime Solicitor to take responsibility for a complex and highprofile caseload involving indictable offences such as homicide major drug conspiracies largescale fraud violent crime and multidefendant investigations.
The role involves representing clients from initial arrest through to trial including police station representation preparation of detailed defence strategies instructing and liaising closely with counsel conducting conferences with clients and expert witnesses analysing extensive evidence bundles reviewing disclosure and ensuring all procedural steps meet strict legal requirements.
You will be responsible for drafting submissions preparing trial documentation challenging prosecution evidence and guiding clients through highly sensitive and stressful proceedings with professionalism and discretion.
The position offers exposure to challenging cases requiring strategic thinking strong advocacy and the ability to act decisively under pressure.
Qualified Solicitor with substantial criminal law experience
Proven track record handling serious and indictable cases
Strong advocacy skills across Magistrates and Crown Court
Ability to analyse large quantities of complex evidence
Experience with multiagency investigations an advantage
Strong communication negotiation and drafting skills
Ability to remain calm under pressure and support vulnerable clients

About You At least 12 months experience working in a residential conveyancing department (essential). Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills. A proactive and professional approach with a genuine interest in property law. Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. Experience using conveyancing case management software (desirable).
