Make a real difference where it matters most! We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Support Worker to join our Wide Bay Maryborough NDIS this role youll assist clients with daily tasks support them in building independence and confidence and help them achieve their personal goals.

Youll create a positive supportive environment fostering meaningful trusting relationships where clients feel valued heard and empowered every day. This role includes weekends offering variety and flexibility in your schedule.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Provide person-centred support to clients with daily tasks personal care and community access helping them achieve their goals and maintain independence.
Foster a positive program culture grounded in RFQs values of empowerment trust compassion resilience and respect.
Maintain accurate and timely records using digital tools and follow organisational policies procedures and quality standards.
Actively contribute to a collaborative team environment through open communication and regular participation in team meetings.
Respond flexibly to rostered duties and supervisor directions ensuring consistent and reliable client support.
Identify report and assist in managing hazards incidents risks and opportunities for improvement.
Participate in supervision and professional development to continually build your skills and knowledge.

You will have:

  • Diploma in a human services related field; or Certificate IV in Mental Health or equivalent and demonstrated previous experience working with people with mental illness
  • Experience or the ability to provide quality support to people with mental illness helping them achieve their goals within organisational requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and record-keeping skills using office and mobile technologies as well as access to a smart phone suitable for work purposes.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team contribute to a positive collaborative culture and reliably meet schedules timelines and defined outcomes.
  • Open drivers licence access to a registered vehicle and smartphone suitable for work.
  • Undergo criminal history screening and obtain and maintain a positive notice and Yellow Card pursuant to the Disability Services Act 2006 (Qld)
