Geisinger is seeking a Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine physician with a passion for Urgent Care to join our team at one or both of our Selinsgrove and Bloomsburg locations.Geisingers ConvenientCare program is an alternative to the Emergency Department when prompt intervention is needed to treat worsening illness or exacerbation of a chronic condition. Acute care services above and beyond what is traditionally found in outpatient urgent care centers are available for the convenience of both providers and patients.
Job Duties:
ConvenientCare has much to offer allowing you to live well in both your professional and personal life:
- Attractive schedule:14 rotating shifts/month no overnight shifts and no mandated additional shifts
- Shifts: 12 hour (M-F) & 10 hour (S-S)
- Support staff: Advanced Practice Providers RNs (available all hours of operation) Phlebomoy Radiology Techs
- Specialized Equipment: Telemedicine carts negative pressure rooms continuous vital sign monitoring
- Diagnostics: X-Ray Ultrasound CT MRI
- Hospital Admissions: If necessary patients can be directly admitted to the hospital from this hospital-based clinic.
- Services: Diagnostics including laboratory and imaging studies (onsite) as well as various treatments
