Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer with strong expertise in Vulnerability Management to support a critical infrastructure initiative. The professional will play a key role in maintaining securing and modernizing enterprise systems by addressing technical debt and ensuring systems are aligned with current technology standards. This is a remote contract opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Perform system patching and updates to address vulnerabilities and improve security posture.
- Configure infrastructure changes to ensure stability and compliance.
- Migrate applications hosted on servers to newer supported versions.
- Collaborate with the Infrastructure team to reduce technical debt and ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor and remediate vulnerabilities as part of ongoing project initiatives.
- Document processes changes and procedures for knowledge sharing and continuity.
Requirements
- Proven experience in IT Infrastructure System Administration or Vulnerability Management.
- Strong knowledge of patch management processes and tools.
- Hands-on experience configuring and maintaining enterprise systems.
- Experience with application and server migrations to newer versions.
- Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools and remediation practices.
- Ability to work independently and deliver results in a remote environment.
Required Skills:
Proven experience in IT Infrastructure System Administration or Vulnerability Management. Strong knowledge of patch management processes and tools. Hands-on experience configuring and maintaining enterprise systems. Experience with application and server migrations to newer versions. Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools and remediation practices. Ability to work independently and deliver results in a remote environment.
