Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile professional to serve as both an AI/ML Engineer and Project Manager responsible for designing and implementing machine learning solutions while leading cross-functional teams to deliver AI-driven projects on time and within scope. This role bridges technical expertise with strategic execution ensuring that AI initiatives align with business goals and deliver measurable impact.
Key Responsibilities:
AI/ML Engineering
- Design develop and deploy machine learning models and AI systems tailored to business needs.
- Conduct data preprocessing feature engineering model selection training and evaluation.
- Collaborate with data scientists software engineers and domain experts to integrate models into production environments.
- Monitor model performance and retrain/update models as needed.
- Stay current with advancements in AI/ML technologies and recommend innovative solutions.
Project Management
- Lead end-to-end project lifecycle for AI/ML initiatives from ideation to deployment.
- Define project scope goals deliverables timelines and resource requirements.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including data science engineering product and business stakeholders.
- Manage risks dependencies and change requests to ensure successful project delivery.
- Communicate project status milestones and outcomes to stakeholders and leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Data Science Engineering or related field.
- 5 years of experience in AI/ML development and deployment.
- 3 years of experience in project management preferably in tech or data-driven environments.
- Proficiency in Python TensorFlow PyTorch scikit-learn Orange and cloud platforms (AWS and Azure).
- Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms data structures and software engineering principles.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools (e.g. Azure DevOps).
- Excellent communication leadership and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP PMI-ACP or equivalent project management certification.
- Experience with MLOps and CI/CD pipelines for ML.
- Familiarity with data governance privacy and ethical AI practices.
- Prior experience in a hybrid technical-managerial role.
