We are currently seeking a Battery Materials Process Engineer Li Metal Anode to lead the material development and process optimization of lithium metal anodes.

What youll do at ABEE

• Lead the engineering efforts to develop the next generation lithium metal anode
• Operate and optimize large-scale production of lithium metal anode using a PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) process
• Develop and implement advanced characterization methods to understand physical and chemical properties of lithium metal anodes
• Collaborate with electrochemists to design and implement electrochemical testing protocols for lithium metal anodes enabling performance feedback and process refinement.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations with occasional participation in EU funded projects (HORIZON etc.)

Required qualifications

• Masters or PhD in Chemistry Materials Science Chemical Engineering or a related engineering field
• 5 years of experience in Lithium-ion or Li-metal battery processing
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• Strong analytical thinking attention to detail and organizational skills
• Effective communication in a multidisciplinary and international team environment.
