Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) PRN STATUS FOR SMH

We are seeking dedicated and skilled Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to join our critical care hospital team on a PRN basis. Key Responsibilities:

- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a critical care setting under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians

- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in condition

- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely

- Document patient care activities thoroughly and in compliance with hospital policies

- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans

- Assist with patient assessments and provide emotional support to patients and their families

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

- Valid and current Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license

- Prior experience in a critical care or hospital setting preferred

- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of critical care procedures

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

- Flexibility to work PRN shifts including nights weekends and holidays

- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and compassion
