Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Evaluates manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of product design to contract manufacture team
- Develops manufacturing processes by studying product requirements and work with contract manufacturing on implementation
- Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow space requirements and equipment layout.
- Provide technical advice to manufacturing teams to optimize product quality product cost and manufacturing efficiency
- Work contract manufacturing for trouble shooting until problem solved on daily basis. Also collaborate with internal teams
- Work with R&D/NPI team to introduce new product production floor and collaborate to contract manufacturing team
Education & Experience
- Bachelor Degree (or higher) in Optics Electronics Semiconductors telecommunication or equivalent technical discipline from an accredited college or university
- 5-10 years of working experience in manufacturing engineer with experiences about problem analysis and problem solving
- Experiences about product/process improvement and cost reduction
- Strong organizational analytical and communication skills
Skills
- Ability to apply statistical analysis tools such as sample statistic descriptive statistic statistical hypothesis testing normal distribution distribution charts histograms SPC trending analysis of variance correlation techniques sampling theory factor analysis etc. and the ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution determination of test reliability and validity
- Ability to define problems collect data establish facts and draw valid conclusions and implement / monitor root cause corrective actions
- Demonstrate highly ability to solve complex issues in process and product development.
- Strong Project management and handle special assignments promptly and professionally.
- Strong leadership and good Interpersonal Skills
- Good in English
- Conducting research to develop new and improved processes for manufacturing.
- Conducting tests and monitoring the process performance throughout production.
- Provide process documentation and operating instructions.
- Manage cost and time constraints.
- Strong data analysis capabilities including continuous improvement experience or certifications.
- Excellent technical skills
