- Provide technical leadership for HVAC design in classified and controlled environments ensuring compliance with stringent security and contamination control standards.
- Develop system concepts for cleanrooms ATMP facilities and critical process areas including airflow control pressurization and filtration strategies.
- Oversee preparation of detailed engineering drawings specifications and calculations using tools such as AutoCAD Revit and BIM.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (Mechanical Electrical Process Engineering Architecture) to integrate HVAC solutions into overall facility design.
- Ensure adherence to ISO cleanroom classifications ASHRAE standards and client-specific protocols.
- Conduct design reviews risk assessments and validation of HVAC systems for classified environments.
- Support project planning cost estimation and technical evaluations for HVAC packages.
- Mentor engineering teams and ensure knowledge transfer of best practices in classified HVAC design
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- 15 years of experience in HVAC design for controlled environments including semiconductor or pharmaceutical facilities.
- Expertise in cleanroom HVAC design contamination control and classified facility requirements.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Revit and BIM platforms.
- Strong understanding of ASHRAE ISO and international HVAC standards.
- Excellent leadership communication and stakeholder management skills.
Additional Information :
- Masters degree or certifications (LEED PMP ASHRAE) is a plus.
- Experience in semiconductor fabs ATMP facilities or defense-related classified projects preferred.
- Familiarity with energy-efficient and sustainable HVAC solutions desirable
