Senior Water Resources Engineer

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Water Resources Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario with a strong background in water management projects and at least 10 years of experience in project design and this role you will provide technical leadership guide the growth of our water resources discipline and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions for stormwater management drainage systems and water balance modeling. You will also play a key role in client engagement and business development leading proposals and building lasting relationships to expand our water resources practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide design and project management services for water management projects such but not limited to stormwater management infrastructure surface water drainage systems stormwater facilities LID measures water balance modelling floodplain analysis flow monitoring.
• Provide technical leadership for the development and growth of the water resources disciplines.
• Support and collaborate with other Teams on multidisciplinary projects and opportunities with water resources components.
• Lead and support proposals and business development efforts.
• Prepare and maintain project scopes budgets and schedules.
• Provide quality control and review of deliverables.
• Liaise with clients special interest groups and approval agencies.
• Support business development and recruitment efforts to grow the Water Resources Team.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering related to water resources or similar.
• A licensed Professional Engineer in Canada eligible for licensing with Professional Engineers of Ontario.
• Minimum of 10 years related experience in project design and management.
• Proficient in preparation of design reports drawings and contract document.
• Knowledgeable in municipal and provincial review processes and standards for permitting and approvals including stormwater management guidelines.
• Knowledgeable of industry standard hydrologic and hydraulic tools and applications such as Hec-Ras Hec-HMS Otthymo Civil 3D Autocad GoldSim.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Provide technical support to construction administration projects
• Experience in Mining Sector
