About The Role
We are seeking an experienced and talented Intermediate to Senior Groundwater Modeller to join our team. The ideal candidate will be involved in a variety of projects that have a hydrogeological modelling component from groundwater dewatering predictions to solute transport modelling and more. The successful client will support and be involved in model validation and review activities. You will be working with a team of hydrogeologists water resources engineers geochemists and modelling specialists to solve complex problems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and interpret hydrogeological data.
- Develop groundwater models to support a variety of hydrogeological settings and client sectors.
- Support and collaborate with other Teams on multidisciplinary projects and opportunities with groundwater components.
- Lead and support proposals and business development efforts.
- Prepare and maintain project scopes budgets and schedules.
- Provide quality control and review of deliverables.
- Liaise with clients special interest groups and approval agencies.
Qualifications :
- A graduate degree in hydrogeology is preferred; however a degree in geology or engineering with more than five years hydrogeology experience can be considered.
- Minimum of 5 to 10 years of related experience in hydrogeology and application of groundwater modelling.
- Proficient in data analysis statistical analysis data summary and report preparation.
- Knowledgeable of industry standard hydrogeologic tools and applications such as MODFLOW FEFLOW SEEP/W HYDRUS HydroGeoSphere.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Eligible to be licensed as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) or Professional Geoscientist (P. Geo.) in Canada.
- Experience in Mining Sector.
