Per diem: Weekly Per diem for candidates who live 150 miles away from location
- Adhere to general work requirements
- Inspect engines and/or APUs components and associated aircraft systems and components in accordance with appropriate maintenance manuals with minimal supervision
- Assist with installation removal or modifications and repairs of turbine engines APUs and airframe systems or components
- Perform and document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required
- Assist with engine/APUs and related systems operational checks and functional tests
- Assist with performing complete engine runs
- Assist with off-aircraft component repair
- Ability to effectively communicate in English in both written and verbal form
- Perform and document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required
- Operate ground support equipment
- Ability to operate industrial vehicles and equipment (scissor/boom lift forklift etc.)
- Comply with environmental health and safety policies and procedures. Participatein5-S activities.
- Perform work in a safe and timely manner
- Basic PC skills
Qualifications :
- You must have FAA Powerplant License
- 5 years of experience working as Engine Technician Powerplant Technician or relevant experience within the aerospace industry.
- Aircraft Mechanic experience engine experience
- Own and maintain hand tools with the ability to demonstrate inventory and control of tools
