Job Summary
- Operations Management: Overseeing daily warehouse logistics such as receiving storage and shipping
- Inventory Control: Tracking products conducting inventory counts and reconciling variances
- Staff Supervision & Leadership: Supervising training and managing warehouse associates
- Safety & Compliance: Enforcing safety regulations and maintaining a safe work environment
- Efficiency & Improvement: Monitoring performance metrics and implementing process improvements
- Equipment Operation: Overseeing material handling equipment operations
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintaining accurate documentation and entering data into systems
- Collaboration: Liaising with various parties to ensure smooth operation
Qualifications :
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse and supervisory role
- Knowledge: Understanding of warehouse operations inventory control and supply chain management
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in computer systems including WMS
- Soft Skills: Leadership communication problem-solving and organizational skills
- A high school diploma or GED is required
- An associate or bachelors degree in a related field is often preferred
