Job Description:

Clerk Position for Conduent Lockbox Outbound Mailroom(On-Site Glen Burnie MD)

Hours: 8:30am-5:00pm (Completion) Monday-Friday

Pay: $18/hr

Provides administrative support to business operations by performing processing tasks such as mailroom sorting and machine operation high and low speed mail opening and scanning exceptions processing and similar activities.

Job Details:

• 40 hours per week

• Standing/Walking 100%

• Lifting and Bending up to 10 lbs

• Basic Computer skills

• Reading and Understanding packing instructions written in English

Job Duties:

• Lift sort and transport Outbound Trays to appropriate areas

• Collecting client backup

• Shipping outbound packages via FedEx/UPS/USPS/Courier Pickup

• Printing Outbound Package Labels

• Assemble Client Outbound Packages

• Operate Opex P40 Mail Sorting Machine.

• Operate Opex Model 150/IEM

• Operate Omation Envelopener.

• Hand sort mail as needed

• Sort mail into pigeon holes based on assigned lockbox number

• Monitor courier movement in and out of the mailrooms

• Hand over courier packages as needed

• Complete multiple mailroom logs

• Scan and deliver Outbound receipted mail

• Sort Inbound Mailroom mail as needed

• Handle misdirected mail

• Handle closed account mail

• Handle retail seasonal account mail

• Other duties as assigned
